What is OD Professional?
OD Professional brings the following functionality from OD Professional to your ophthalmology or OD/MD practice:
The Foundations practice-management module.
The Visions dispensary-management module.
ActionTracker Business Intelligence.
ImageManager image capture and telemedicine solution.
Ensemble integration platform. Some OD/MD practices are able to use the OD Professional EHRs for optometry side of the practice but MD Professional does not attempt to replace the fine EHRs already available for ophthalmology. Rather, Ensemble (French for “together”) allows us to make the two solutions one. Ensemble is a robust integration technology from InterSystems , makers of the Caché database that also powers OD Professional.
Integrating your existing ophthalmology EHRs is billed as a service and may be completed concurrently with the MDPro implementation or as a subsequent phase. Please ask for details. |
